Duncan Keith and Daniel Sedin

There was an ugly incident Wednesday night in Chicago where Blackhawk's defence man Duncan Keith blatantly elbowed Daniel Sedin of the Vancouver Canucks. Keith was only given a two minute minor penalty on the play, and then subsequently banned five games by Brendan Shannahan of the NHL.
Judge for yourself with the video above, but Keith made no attempt to play the puck, and was seeking revenge. Sedin had hit Keith earlier in the game with a shoulder to the head and Keith was reportedly heard saying he would get him back. As much as I hate the Canucks, this is a horrible hit, and Daniel has a concussion. I think he deserved more then a five game suspension, and I hope Chicago and Vancouver meet in the playoffs this year. I hope Keith learned his lesson because there is not place in the game for hits like this.
